verifymsg is not held locally; the version on the server at the time of the checkin is used. rcsinfo *is* kept locally; it's stored by checkout and never updated, so you do have to do a new checkout

Thanks, I sort of have a similar script. However, I want to force folks to use a certain Bug# when submitting to a certain branch. But I don't see (or I can't parse) any occurrence of the word "Tag".
