Hi Emile,

if James cannot find all the originals, I think I could write a little python script to recreate the original PNMs from the mobjs. Might take a few days, though, 'til I find the time.

I'm not particularly trying to use the wastesedge tilesets for myself
(I found some other tiles), but rather to encourage communication and
pooling of resources in the free software game development community
:-)

When it comes to making decent graphics, there aren't many people around who can really make them. As such I'd like the idea of sharing such efforts where possible.

As James said, wastesedge graphics are not that reusable, as they for a very special place. But I could imagine that at least parts like wall or floor tiles, items and trees and such could be used by different projects without problem. As long as the overall style fits.

It's a bit different with character graphics, as people might associate a special person with the graphics and could be puzzled if a completely different character looks exactly the same. They could still serve as a starting point for modifications though.

So if there was some sort of graphic repository around, I wouldn't mind if our graphics where added, for whatever good it does :-). But then again, in the end it's the artists decision ...

Kai
