[Aspell-user] Advice needed for next aspell6-pt_BR release

Because of recent developments in OpenOffice.org's pt_BR dictionary,
from which aspell6-pt_BR is derived, I have to make a choice and would
like other people to say what they think.

Let me cite a word: "criá-la-emos". It means "(we) will create it",
where "it"'s gender is feminine. These aren't three words, but three
words modified to fit in a single word. Recently, ooo pt_BR dict
maintainer included all these crazy verb conjugations, which is quite
an achievement. The problem is, he wasn't able to make OpenOffice.org
recognize words with hyphens within it, so the dictionary still has
stuff like "criá", "la" and "emos".

Nonetheless, he created a version of the dictionary without this "half
words", for the sake of Aspell and Vim, which can be tought to
recognize words with hyphen. But not so fast: Enchant refuses to
accept hyphens inside words [1]. Now I have to decide on which version
should be converted to Aspell and released: with or without "criá",
"la", "emos" and friends?

Without them, command-line users would have the best pt_BR dict ever,
but Enchant users would still be unable to spell check word like the
example. With that "half words", we would continue to have some
false-negatives (misspelled words recognized as okay), but Enchant
users would be able to check words like "subi-mo-ão".
