It occurs to me that an account on Fencepost would be one way to accomplish that bandwidth saving you were talking about earlier. Download it to to Fencepost instead and then upload to the site from there and the only bandwidth being used on your side is the SSH connection to Fencepost. http://www.gnu.org/software/README.accounts.html Anyway, just a thought...
Yes, it's one solution.But a Fencepost account is a bit overkill just to save some bandwidth, and it's just relocating the problem, there would still be two transfers and two copies made, where one should be enough.
