Before we let it out into the wild, though, can you please explain
why the patch uses the ERLANG_* name space for m4 macros? Typically
Autoconf macros leave names like that to the user. Can we rename
those macros to AC_ERLANG_*?
Also, can you please also suggest a brief change to the NEWS file, and
also to the doc/autoconf.texi file? That will help other Autoconf
users see what's up.
