Here does not work fine: $ tar xzvf ../athello.tar.gz $ cd athello/ $ ls $ autoreconf -si $ ./configure $ make distcheck Here works fine: $ tar xzvf ../athello.tar.gz $ cd athello/ $ autoreconf -fsi # Add -f option $ ./configure $ make distcheck > no --force (to autoreconf) => --no-force (to automake).
