| Akim,
|
| Now that you seem to be at revamping autoreconf's options, just a
| feature request:
Yep, I think there is still much room in autoreconf. I'd like to add
it a --update (=> autoupdate and maybe gettextize for a more recent
gettext), and --check (=> autoscan).
| Would it be possible to change autoreconf to
| * not recurse it into CONFIG_SUBDIRS by default
| * to let it recurse only into CONFIG_SUBDIRS if a --recursive option was
| specified.
|
| (What I have in mind is a similar behavior as to chown -R).
|
| Reasonale: Running autoreconf inside of deep sourcetrees with several
| levels of CONFIG_SUBDIRS currently always (and often unnecessarily)
| rebuilds all CONFIG_SUBDIRS from all subdirs.
I understand. I would definitely accept the patch. Nevertheless, I
tend to think that the default _is_ to recurse, no?
