trouble with a check for funktion in library ...

 Hi,

 The following is part of a configure.in file I'm trying to write, 
however the AC_CHECK_LIB always fails, what are the requirements for it 
to run ?

 I've been at this for a week or two now, and I just don't get it, even 
if I have been rtfm'ing ..
