Applied after a short fight with CVS. The version you are using on
sourceware.cygnus.com tends to commit only some of the files in a single
run (either only those from the current directory or all files except
those from the current directory).

The CVS on sourceware.cygnus.com must be very old since it has another bug
that I fixed almost 2 years ago:

$ cvs log -r automake.in
Terminated with fatal signal 11

Unrelated question - why does the prototype use `$%' instead of `%'? We
are only using hashes as arguments. Actually, prototype checking seems to
be rather weak, but it's better than nothing.
