[avr-gcc-list] Makefile to output .a files (libraries)?

Hello to all 
Can anyone tell me how can I output a library file (*.a) from a driver that I made and have the C source file (*.c)? If possible, a makefile would be very nice!
I also need a makefile to, as a user of that driver, be able to include in my projects!

I use the AVR-GCC in the WinAVR package (20050214).
