[avr-libc-dev] Error building avr-libc 1.6.8 and with gcc 4.5.0

I am currently experimenting installing the toolchain for building AVR
apps using GCC 4.5.0 , binutils 2.20 and avr-libc 1.6.8.

When configuring avr-libc I first had to set the ld library part to make
configure succeed like:  
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib

Then I run make and got the following problem:
