Slow down the AVRISP.  Make your first connection attempt with "-tuF",
so you can talk to just the AVRISP in terminal mode.  Adjust the SCK
frequency to 100 kHz (10 ┬Ás SCK period) using the command "sck 10".

Try again then.  If it still fails, it might be the breadboard
wiring, or a poor Vcc bypass.
