URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?7636> Summary: Allow multiple signatures per chip Project: AVR Downloader/UploaDEr Submitted by: avian Submitted on: Sun 16 Oct 2011 09:05:39 AM GMT Category: None Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: This patch adds the possibility of defining more than one signature per part description in avrdude.conf. For instance ATmega328 and ATmega328P differ only in power consumption and device signature bytes. In all other aspects these chips are identical. There are many more examples like that. It does not make sense to duplicate complete entries simply to add another signature for an otherwise identical chip - avrdude.conf is already quite large. This patch offers a more efficient solution. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun 16 Oct 2011 09:05:39 AM GMT Name: multiple_signatures.patch Size: 6kB By: avian <http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/download.php?file_id=24157> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?7636> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
