[Axiom-developer] REDUCE open source?

Just saw the note on the Maxima list from David Billinghurst about a 
sourceforge project for Reduce:

It looks like this may be the (formerly?) commercial REDUCE, based on their 
history blurb.  If so, it's probably worth calling some attention to - if 
nothing else as a source for ideas/algorithms.  It's sourceforge page lists the 
BSD license.
