Hi
I'm trying to setup gnu anubis to encrypt outgoing and decrypt incoming
e-mails.
But for now I have a problem just setting it up to forward sent e-mails.
I compiled gnu-anubis and so far it runs. I run it in proxy mode and the
mua connects to the server running anubis without identification. I run
anubis in foreground- and verbose-mode. I see that it tries to send a
message as soon the client starts sending a message, it connects to the
mta and the mta says wrong authentification credentials and gives back
the username in base64, if I decode the base64-username I can see it is
the correct username but certain letters are wrong. If I encode the
right username it looks alike, but some Letters of the encodeded version
are in lowercase. If I decode back that version of the usernmae, it's
the correct one.
I don't know if I am facing some sort of character coding issue or the
credentials are for some reason not transfered right to the mta.
Maybe you have some suggestions for me.
Best regards,
Cyrilöle
