[Bug-apl] Readline-related feature request

Hi,

When using readline, please set rl_readline_name to some predictable
value before calling rl_initialize().  This will allow conditional
configuration in inputrc based on that name.

Additionally, it would also be convenient to be able to configure
size of history and location of history file rather than having it
hardcoded.  Especially since currently it's hardcoded relative
to current working directory.
