Hm, that shouldn't happen.

That also shouldn't happen, although it might be a aftereffect from the
error above.
Thomas, I'm sorry, but right now I have no ideas left what might be the
culprit. Probably it's best for you to stick to the command line
invocation of evince for now, and try again TeX-evince-sync-view once
you've had a significant system update (e.g., emacs, dbus,...).
