Autoconf error while configure madplay on Mac OS X Panther

Hello,
I got the following error report while trying to configure madplay on 
Mac OS X Panther
checking sys/param.h presence... no
configure: WARNING: sys/param.h: accepted by the compiler, rejected by 
the preprocessor!
configure: WARNING: sys/param.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's 
result
configure: WARNING:     ## ------------------------------------ ##
configure: WARNING:     ## Report this to address@hidden ##

The configure process continued but it said to report it so I did.
