Hi, I'm building gnome2 on an Athlon64 FreeBSD 6.0 system. During the
pilot-link port build I spotted the following WARNING:
....
Configuring for pilot-link-0.11.8_3:
....
 checking png.h useability... yes
 checking png.h presence... no
configure: WARNING: png.h: accepted by the compiler, rejected by the
 preprocessor!
configure: WARNING: png.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
....

and a message to report this as a bug.
I'm using gcc 3.4.4.

My CFLAGS+=02 -march=athlon64 -msse -msse2 -msse3 -m64 -mmmx -m3dnow
--pipe -fforce-mem -fforce-addr -funroll-loops -fcse-follow-jumps
-frename-registers --param max-gcse-memory=8388608 -finline-limit=2048
--param inline-unit-growth -480

The FreeBSD 6.0 RELEASE system was cvsupped yesterday
(RELENG_6_0_0_RELEASE)- ie., not following current, but maintaining a
6.0 RELEASE system with errata and security patches.

Thankyou for making gcc and associated build environment tools.
