It does look like there is a little something wrong with your
compiler setup, yes.

I suspect the problem is more with the other parts of your system, not
with Autoconf per se. But that's just a guess.

You can ignore this failure; it's a portability bug in the test suite
(fixed in the next Autoconf version).

That looks like trouble. I'd look into that problem before worrying
about the other test failures. Why is GCC emitting something that
your assembler rejects?
