I think a more important question is which test caused this #define to be
generated in the first place.  Most modern systems have a working
definition for size_t in <sys/types.h>, and it would be nice to figure out
why, earlier in the config.log, something decided to reject the system's
size_t and use a macro replacement.  Can you post a simple configure.ac to
reproduce this?
