I've tried running this test with make-3.79.1 and make-3.80
successfully.

I've no idea what's happening.  It's surprising ansi6.test
passes and ansi10.test doesn't.  Both tests are very similar.

Maybe you could try running the originial test (without `-d')
until it fails, then go into `tests/testSubDir/dir/' and play
with `make', `make ansi2knr', or `make ansi2knr.o'.  I'm not
sure we'll learn anything, though, but I do not have any other
idea.
