* Manual (wait for 1.7.x to fade out before changing these things)
- Move to doc/
- Add FDL
- s/configure.in/configure.ac/g, it's time now.
- Check classification wrt Free Software Directory (ask Karl if unsure)
I've applied your patch on HEAD and branch-1-7 with the
following ChangeLog entry. Please don't forget to send
ChangeLog entries with your patches.

I want to move the manual in a separate directory before
including the FDL, however doing this would make a bit harder to
apply patches to both HEAD and branch-1-7. So I'll do it before
1.8, but later.
