Hi Hans,
Thanks for the report. Could you upgrade to 1.8.2? It should
fix at least subpkg2.test (it was the only failure reported by
another Tru64 user).
If the other tests still fails, could you run them verbosely and
send the details here? The procedure is explained in
tests/README.
