Failures on SunOS 4.1.4

Hallo,

I just compiled automake 1.9.6 on my old Sparc Station (SS5/170).
This machine is running SunOS 4.1.4 and has gcc 2.95.3.

As a result I see the following:


-> Sat Jul 30 22:41:52 MET DST 2005; Sun Jul 31 03:26:14 MET DST 2005
-> 368 of 509 tests failed
-> (58 tests were not run)
-> Please report to address@hidden

Please let me know, if you want to get any additional information.
I would like to see a higher PASSED rate, when running the tests!
