Which zsh version was this?

I assume this removed the `as_func_failure succeeded.' warnings?
Did this also eliminate the internal error output by automake
(that would be surprising to me)?

'zsh --version' gives:
zsh 4.3.2 (i686-pc-linux-gnu)

and yes, it did remove the internal output warning.
Automake and Autoconf work like they are supposed to now.
