Karl]> You can try `S-insert' (this is: Shift-Insert).

Neat! Say, what if one day I break my mouse and it is a long trip
into town. Can I somehow in one shell window use

$ echo some_thing_I_want_to_paste_later >> /dev/mouse_kill_ring

to be able to then recall it elsewhere with S-insert?

By the way, does S-insert have any ring properties available, or is it
only one?
