Hi,
I've been an avvid user of tcsh for quite a while and then switched to
bash (of course :*) ).
There is one problem that bash has and tcsh doesn't, and that I can't find
any reference to anywhere.
The problem is: When a program changes the echo mode of the terminal, and
you kill it with CTRL-C, you will not see what you are typing.
I never saw this behaviour with tcsh.
Is this a bug, or a feature? It took me _quite_ a while before I
discovered 'stty sane', and I can see that many users would be really
frustrated finding it.
Thanks for any insights, and hopefully, fixes :)
Wout.
