I suck. Did what you said, "make" works OK, but at "make install" I get:

make[2]: Leaving directory `/squid-data/src/build/bfd/po'
make[2]: Entering directory `/squid-data/src/build/bfd'
make[3]: Entering directory `/squid-data/src/build/bfd'
make[3]: Nothing to be done for `install-exec-am'.
/bin/sh ../../binutils-2.14.92/bfd/../mkinstalldirs /usr/local/lib
/bin/sh ../../binutils-2.14.92/bfd/../mkinstalldirs /usr/local/include
/bin/sh ./libtool --mode=install ../binutils-2.14.92/install-sh -c
libbfd.la /usr/local/lib/libbfd.la
../binutils-2.14.92/install-sh -c .libs/libbfd.lai /usr/local/lib/libbfd.la
./libtool: line 1: ../binutils-2.14.92/install-sh: No such file or directory
