[Bug gprof/7099] New: gprof documentation for linking with -lc_p is now

From: shlomif at iglu dot org dot il
Subject: [Bug gprof/7099] New: gprof documentation for linking with -lc_p is now misleading
Date: 14 Dec 2008 08:59:47 -0000

See:

* https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=46307
* http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=442858

In:

http://sourceware.org/binutils/docs/gprof/Compiling.html#Compiling

It is written that one needs to compile using gcc and "-g -pg -lc_p". However,
now one should also add "-static-libgcc" or else their program will crash on
startup.

So the documentation should be fixed.
