AFAIK, yes.  I never got a problem report about this before.

I would be glad if you download the latest groff version from

  ftp://ftp.ffii.org/pub/groff/devel/groff-current.tar.gz

and test whether it works smoothlessly with the latest gcc versions.

BTW, I just did a test with YACC="bison -y" (bison version 1.28) and
gcc 3.0.1 (this is what I have installed), and everything works OK.
Probably because this bison version doesn't use size_t :-)
