        Yes, it is a good idea to make a release. Currently there two
problems that should be fixed before:

        1) FreeBSD and ip_mreqn.

        2) The ambiguity created for some derived classes after the
addition of new read and write methods to Socket. As suggested, they
could be renamed as readData and writeData.

I have just committed the change for '2' and will look at '1' later
today.
