RE: Patch to add std::string support back into the Persistence Engine

After submitting the patch last night, I was digging around because
initially I patched 1.2.3 and thought it odd that there would be
differences with the way the exports were being done. I patched against
cvs from sourceforge, and it appears that that source tree is out of date.
I chose that because it seemed to have the most activity (bug reports,
patches, etc). Is savannah the "official" home of commoncpp? if so, it
might be a good idea to point the sourceforge users to savannah for the
current source. I think there are many that are confused as to "what
version they should be using"

I will checkout from savannah and re-apply the patch there, and all future
patches.

Thanks, and sorry for the confusion.

Chad
