I'd like to have some kind of green light from the guys responsible
here for the coreutils package before I start hacking/don't wanna
waste my time, maybe there's a good cause why it is like it is
If you find it useful then it cannot be a waste of time since someone
else might find it useful to. As for "green lights" from Jim/Paul,
send a patch, if they like it they will apply it. :-)
