This patch adds support for parsing hexadecimal numbers to dd.
So instead of writing:

 dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=`perl -e 'printf("%d",0xe0000);'` count=1

you can just write

 dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=0xe0000 count=1

It's a feature I use everyday and I'd be really glad if you could take it
into the official release of GNU coreutils.
