This includes the very latest changes from gnulib (as of an hour
ago), so if you find a portability problem, check out both the
address@hidden and address@hidden mailing lists, in case
someone else has already reported/fixed it there.

This fixes a problem in basename from coreutils 6.6 (didn't check 6.7 stable) at least. I've already started threads on the problems I had building on AIX. 'make check' passed clean. :-)
