Hello,

On a RHEL4 box, I tried the following commands:

date --date="2007-03-08 10:01 1 minute ago" +"%Y-%m-%d %H:%M"
date --date="2007-03-08 10:01 next 1 minute" +"%Y-%m-%d %H:%M"

The first command returns 2007-03-08 10:00 (which is the output I expected)
However, the second command returns 2001-03-08 10:02 (instead of 2007!)

Is there something I did wrong? Is there a bug in date?
I tried the same on a RHEL3, with the same results.

Here is the configuration of the machines:

* RHEL 3
kernel 2.4.21-20.ELsmp
bash 2.05b.0
date (coreutils) 4.5.3

* RHEL 4
kernel 2.6.9-42.ELsmp
bash 3.00.15(1)
date (coreutils) 5.2.1.

Thanks for your help and best regards

Michel Roig
