Bug: uname -r shows kernel version and uname -v shows release date

Hi,
   
  I have found this bug in RHEL4, think will be there in all distros.

  address@hidden root]# uname -r
2.4.21-47.0.1.ELvmnix
address@hidden root]# uname -v
#1 Tue May 22 05:16:53 PDT 2007
address@hidden root]#
  
<snip>
   
  uname -r suppose to show relaese date and option -v has to show kernel version
