Hi there,
I tried to copy several subfolders including files with "cp -rup * /tmp". I
issued this command in the folder where several subfolders+files were
located
but once i stop the copy operation with crtl+c and want do run the command
again to "resume" the last task with skipping all existing files (-u
updating according to manual)
it was still asking for overwriting files (cp: overwrite ) for each one
there. Adding the -f option didnt change asking for overwrite files.
I have Fedora Core 7 latest with GNU coreutils 6.9 March 2007. As far I
remember it did work on Fedora Core 6, before I was updating to Core 7 with
older cp version.
I hope you could try to reproduce this "bug" if it is any since I am quite
clueless now if I am too dumb to read man pages or to do this simple
operation :)
Regards,
Jochen
