Thanks for the attempted patch. For now, I haven't looked at it, other
than to note that ls.1 is autogenerated from 'ls --help' output, and you
got your patch reversed (you want to use 'diff old new', not 'diff new
old'). Would you mind trying again by patching the usage() function in
src/ls.c instead? The file HACKING in coreutils.git describes how to
submit nicer patches.
