the test-version-etc.sh falls over when configured with:
--with-packager=Gentoo --with-packager-version='8.1 (p1)'
this isnt a coreutils-8.1 regression ... been like this since the --with-
packager-... options were added.
FAIL: test-version-etc.sh (exit: 1)
