Dear Friends,

I'm using cygwin cvs on Windows 2000 to access a repository on
solaris. This used to work fine but now it is broken. I do not think
the solaris binaries changed (1.11). It is possible that I upgraded
the cygwin software.

What I see is that the client hangs after an apparently successful
operation. I've seen this problem characterized as having to do with
older clients and the -z flag, but that doesn't seem to apply to my
situation.

I am using CVSROOT=:ext:me@host:path on windows. I don't have .cvsrc
files.

I tried upgrading the solaris box to 1.11.5 and it doesn't help.

I use plink for CVS_RSH.

Am I missing something?

Thanks for any hints,
