Hi!My question is the following: is GNU fdisk able to renumber my partitions from sda1 - sda2 - sda4 to sda1 - sda2 - sda3? I.e. without me having to delete the last partition and recreate an identical one by hand?
There is a function called "fix partition order", but in the util-linux fdisk this does not do the above, since the partitions are already in order. So I am wondering, is GNU fdisk able to change the numbering as specified above?
If not, perhaps a function such as "Renumber partitions" could be included in GNU fdisk in the future?
Best regards Torquil Sørensen
