Not that it will do any good, but you can try to encourage people to
use the bug reporting address for such things, and not comp.lang.awk.
I don't read c.l.a., and haven't for close to a year, nor do I plan to
start back up. Reporting bugs there is a hit-or-miss proposition, whereas
using the bug address is guaranteed to get my attention.
