Ah. When I bisect to search for when a problem was introduced, I do
not run "make check" at each stage. Instead, I identify a single test
case related to the problem I'm working on, and I run that test in each
stage. This is faster and focuses on the issue of concern. Running an
overall "make check" can distract from the issue actually being debugged.
