[bug-gawk] FIELDWIDTHS builtin variable name is too long to use in shell

I think awk is mainly used in shell command line like sed

sed has all commands in one character long.

but awk FIELDWIDTHS builtin variable is too long to use in shell command line.

It is something like to use FIELDSEPARATOR for FS.

It would be good if there is a additional shortcut for long variable name like

FIELDWIDTHS -----> FW
FPAT -----> FP
