I issued the following commands.

$ df -k
/opt/gdb01             (/dev/vg00/lv_gdb01    ) :   179442 total allocated
Kb
                                                     46654 free allocated Kb
                                                    132788 used allocated Kb
                                                        74 % allocation used

$ bdf /opt/gdb01
Filesystem kbytes used avail %used Mounted on
/dev/vg00/lv_gdb01  199381  132788   46654   74% /opt/gdb01

Is space an issue? We don't use quotas according to our Unix guru Ray
Cushing.

That is a peculiar looking error, especially after version.c compiled
successfully. Maybe your disk is full or your quota is full?
