Thank you so much. Suprised I didn't stumble across this when I did a 
search of the archives, but somehow it didn't show up.

I hate the thought of upgrading to LM 8.0, but it looks like I might have 
to do this. (Sound is also an issue in 7.2 that was solved in 8.0.) On the 
other hand, I keep seeing posts (on the LM expert reflector) from people 
who had fully-working 7.2 installations that have broken under 8.0. Since I 
run my business off my 7.2 box, I'm frightened of upgrading and losing a 
lot of vital stuff.

Maybe I'll try buying a second disk and trying to install LM 8.0 on that. 
Then, if/when that works, I can migrate all my configuration and files over 
to that.

Right now I have only 11 threads, so this would not be a problem.
