gdb doesn't break in the Costructors

Hi,
I just want to know if you already have this problem. Since I upgrade my 
program from g++2.95 to g++3.3 (yes, I know, it took very long time), I 
have problems with de gdb, generally with my program. But I can not set 
break points in the constructors (actually I can, but the program 
doesn't "break" there).
I know that I have problems with the memory but I didn't have these 
problems before.
I have used tool to look at it but I can not find the real problem.
If you have a case like this, please, I would like to know what the 
problem is.
