gdb 6.2.1 treat our C source code as Fortran

Dear Sir/Madam:

It seems the gdb 6.2.1 cannot recognize the file extension correctly.
It shows our C  language source code with .c extension in file name as
fortran.

The attached file are copied from the gdb screen. Is there any compilation
option wrong ?
Or we linked to a fortran library ?
